庚子辞旧去，辛丑迎新来。 新学期，杭州世外外籍人员子女学校举行了以 “全面发展 齐力犇腾”为主题的2020学年第二学期开学典礼。典礼环节充满浓浓年味，德育课堂展现大国风范，一盆花的教养课程则给新的学期送来了暖暖春意。
On March 1st , Hangzhou World Foreign Language International School held the opening ceremony of the second semester of the 2020 school year with the theme of "Holistic Growth with the Spirit of Ox". The ceremony provided us with educational thoughts and warmth of the spring.

    由校舞蹈队带来的《谷子好》金奖作品拉开了本次开学典礼的帷幕，舞台上一个个舞蹈精灵欢快上台，瞬间令整个报告厅热闹非凡。紧接着，来自P5B班的吴承霖和鲍瀚麟同学带给大家的寒假生活分享，把乡村里的中国年味搬上了舞台，我们PYP的孩子不仅热爱劳动，还很善于创造呢。典礼上，我们还欣赏了寒假IT作业视频集，一幅幅与家人团圆，共贺新年的画面，体现了中华传统文化的人文情怀。
The gold prize winner dance "Good Millet", performed by the School Dance Team kicked off the opening ceremony. Their joyful dance sparkled hall with lively atmosphere of happiness. Immediately afterwards, Lantin and Bob from P5B shared their winter vacation life of how Chinese New Year was celebrated in the countryside. PYP children are not just diligent but also creative. At the ceremony, students also watched IT homework video collection of family reunion and New Year celebration, which was a mirror of traditional Chinese culture.

    本学期，PYP学生的学期中心目标是，成为胸襟开阔且拥有国际视野的IB学习者。典礼上Daniel老师给大家带来了一节充满国际情怀的德育课，疫情期间，中国无偿提供疫苗援助50多个有需求的国家，用行动诠释人类命运共同体的理念，展现了大国风范。P4A班同学带来的英语话剧，也用身边的事例，鲜活地演绎了何为国际情怀。新的学期，学校还倡导学术诚信，鼓励每位同学即使在无人注视之时，也要坚持做正确的事，展现坚持原则的培养目标。
This semester, the central goal of PYP students is to become IB learners with an international mindedness. At the ceremony, teacher Daniel presented a moral education class of China’s contribution during the epidemic. China has provided free vaccine assistance to more than 50 countries, interpreted the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind with actions, and demonstrated the demeanor of a great country. The English drama from P4A used the examples in life to vividly interpret the understanding of international mindedness. In the new semester, the school also advocated academic integrity, and encouraged every student to be principled by doing the right things .

    协调员Eric老师邀请了台下的学生代表来到舞台中间，用快问快答的形式，阐述了胸襟开阔的理念，也给全体师生带来了新的思考。SRC的学生代表则在新学期的蓝图中，向全体学生发起了倡议书。我们敬爱的Stella校长在新学期寄语里，用“三牛精神”激励世外学子，我们不仅要发扬孺子牛的奉献精神，拓荒牛的创新精神，老黄牛的奋斗精神，还要拥有国际情怀，努力成为热爱和平，富有同理心的国际公民。
The coordinator, Mr. Eric, invited the student representatives to the stage to explain what international mindedness was. SRC student representatives initiated a proposal to all students in the blueprint for the new semester. Principal Stella used the "Three Bulls Spirit" to inspire students to be pioneering, fearless and persistent like an ox, and became international citizens who loved peace with empathetic hearts.

    校长赠予的一盆花环节温馨而又美好，在每班代表精彩的发言声中，此次典礼落下了帷幕。
The ceremony came to an end with the principal giving flowers to classes and the wonderful speeches of the representatives of each class.

    新学期新气象，三“牛”聚成“犇”，期盼每一位同学，带着一个“犇”头，一身“犇”劲，一路“犇”驰。借着开学典礼的东风，相信世外的每一位学子都将以满腔的热情，投入到新学期的学习中，用勤奋与智慧谱写卓越的篇章。
In the new semester,we trust that each student will be influenced by ox spirit and keep running forward with determination and perseverance. With the atmosphere of the Opening Ceremony, we believe that students will devote themselves to the new semester and learn with enthusiasm.Let us write a new chapter with diligence and wisdom.
